OFFICIAL Release: T-Mobile 8320 v4.5.0.81

Has anyone noticed the weird backlight issue?

My "backlight automatically dims" is set to "OFF" but it's still dimming in low-light and getting brighter in bright light! Super annoying...

I noticed the volume of the external speaker since upgrading is not nearly as loud as 4.2.2. Battery life is not good. I think this OS sucks. I have searched far and wide for version 4.2.2 downoad, but I can't find it anywhere. Does someone have it kicking around for TMO?

Thanks

oh one thing i was going to mention about the browser i used to be able to go to bofa.com on my old browser now its saying i have an old browser version when i go there.... any suggestins.. and i havnt been able to you tube either.

yea, I donno, this new browser doesn't work for half the sites I go to including this one. The main reason I wanted to upgrade to 4.5 was to stream video and music. None of that stuff works. Yet another two reasons to downgrade back to a more operational OS.

Connect your phonr to your PC. In Desktop Manager, go to the application loader. When you get into the application loader, you will see a list of all the available apps. DocsToGo is one of them. Make sure that you put a check mark in the box before DocsToGo.

It will then load onto your Blackberry. It's an awesome program... Enjoy.

That's basically what I was saying. I have the 8120 and that's only been out a few months. Tmobile is really pissing me off. I am thisclose to switching over to AT&T and upgrading to the Bold. My contract expired last month and I wasn't really thinking about changing carriers but now that I'm hearing that they are not planning to give us Pearl users the 4.5 I may just very well say good riddance.

I downloaded 4.5 from the RIM site and my Curve has been jacked every since. It goes into and infinite reboot cycle unless I remove my memory card. Does anyone know any fix for this? I've tried everything I know !?!
