Those models came with later OS's if I am not mistaken. So they should already do what this upgrade does for the 8320. Not sure about the HTML email, but video recording they already had didn't they?

I had the .81 Rogers on my phone, so I just backed my device up, JL wiped my phone, and installed new software. Once it was completed, restored my backup, and waa laa, T-MO 4.5 on my 8320.

The hour glass is normal, as long as you don't interrupt the process, everything will be fine.
