Official Funimation "Soul Eater" Dub Talkback

If FUNimation throws up free full episodes I might check more out, but at this rate I feel like I've already seen this sort of show a dozen times.

Man, the animation is sweet.

Micah Solusad sounRAB a LOT like JYB but he gets the job done. Laura Bailey's Moka reminRAB me of her Araber (from Darker Than Black) but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I can see why people are saying that Micah Solusad sounRAB like Johnny, but at the same time there is clearly a unique quality to his voice. Funi definately put a lot of thought into their casting for this dub, and the results are impressive.

I read some comments about how some of us like this video but the link's not working so please, try to find a link that actually works. I'm tired of being the last one to investigate on these things and finding out that the links are broken or the video's been removed.

I didn't really see JYB in his voice... Maybe because I already knew it wasn't him... Anyways, very good animation. It flows very nicely.

Looking forward to this.

I saw the clip on Funi's website and it's pretty cool. I like the voices but was it just me or did anyone else hate the fact that Jack the Ripper had to talk with "More power." I rather had him be a completely silent and deadly killer.

New trailer

Looks like they're doing half season sets since this looks like they have scenes from way up there.

Also, wow look at all those spoilers.....

Wow, you mean that was NOT Johnny Yong Bosch?

I guess if for some reason Bosch can't play Vash in the new Trigun anime, you have someone to fill in after Funi licenses it .

While it's more of a "Duh" moment that they will be doing half season sets, some of those clips are all the way up to episode 23 (I believe), so you shouldn't use that this trailer is specifically indicating season sets. It's probably just to show people more footage of action for the series and what it is like, rather than the format of the exact series.

Which beckons the question: are 'half season sets' considered 13 or 26 episodes? One Piece can't be used as a measuring stick at all, but DGM has done two sets of thirteen as one season?

Actually, D.Gray-man's first season is actually the first 51 episodes. For some reason, despite stating in a press release that they acquired the first season, they seem to be splitting it up into "two seasons", rather than following the Japanese production format.

But this is getting off topic.

Another dub clip's up. This one of episode 2 with Black Star and Tsubaki.

Review in a sec.

EDIT:
-Okay, wow, Black Star sounRAB like Ash. Tsubaki's great but Black Star....no, that's not too hot.

-Actually, I spoke too soon. When he's screaming, he sounRAB good.

-You know who would have been good for Tsubaki? Botan's VA. She'd sound good with an English accent.
