My family comes from a small village close to the mountains...a part of the Ukrainian army came in one day after the war and sealed off any exit from the village, executed my Mom's uncle in front of his family (he was the police chief), rounded up many of the infants in the village and killed them by throwing them against a wall, and pretty much just did as they pleased...until 2 men found a way out and eventually got to Warsaw to let the Polish army know what's going on
