Because J and K league isn't that much better than the MLS at all. Just better run. If you've ever watched K League games, it's just Koreans running up and down the field playing no defense with 5-4 scores. Fun to watch.

I think I would be more interested in watching this game if it was in between world cup matches, the other games that have been played so far and the one before this have spoiled me

its kinda like with the red sox in the past though, you just expect them to blow it, so it becomes such a love/hate relationship with the team.
I traveled with a bunch of nuts to Portugal for the Eurocup, and there might have been as much Spanish fans in Portugal as Portugese fans.
People in spain are very nationalist. Miguel Indurain is a national icon. Every gold medal is talked about. Shit my cousin recognized some olympic swimmer while we were bowling, I couldnt recognize Mark Spitz or Phelps or any of those guys if they came up to me and spit on my face.
