in 74 it was even worse. cruyff headed the glorious dutch squad in the final. at that time the best team in the world, lead by probably the best player europe has ever produced. everybody knew before the final that their "total football" would win them the crown.
in the end we gave them 90 minutes they sure as hell didn't enjoy. the dutch were singing before the final, we are still singing today.
