It's a difference in perspectives. Those teams are used to the pressure and the enviroment. Would probably be better if we had more European players in that respect but even the ones from Europe played like shit so...dunno. We went into 2002 with basically no expectations and with no hype at all. It's not a matter of other countries having more pressure, it's the fact that all of a sudden people are being forced to give a shit. And if they don't win, they feel like football in their entire country will go back to post 1998 level when they got humiliated after the success of 1994. Granted by the time we played Mexico, it was a big deal and we still came through.
