Official Discussion Thread for V709++

Thanks Bro! It is a Zoho V709...
Was looking for a large screen phone to surf web...
End up buying iphone clone...
More details here...

One of the apps that I install under Java in my phone...

Hack Proof Password Manager avoid the frustration of a forgotten PIN or Password. It's the right solution to securely store and quickly access passwords, PINs, credit card numbers, accounts and all other personal data.

Download Hack Proof Password Manager for Mobile

I had this app on my Nokia and was pleasantly surprised that it worked on V709 which is a touch screen. Just click on the side button to activate the keyboard...

Now I can continue to remember one password to gain access to the long list of others!!!

LightWallet is an app that allows me to record and manage my everyday expenses... It has full support for touchscreen driven devices like V709...

Download LightWallet for Sony-Ericsson W800

Hi all, ''I'm using a EFOX H608 which in fact is a SOHO V709 and I'm struggling to connect via WLAN. My router is using 'WPA PSK' and it seems
the shared key is recognized (if noit entered I'm asked each time to enter), but when trying to connect I receive always the message ' unable to conect'.

BTW, searching for WLAN is working and I've addded an access point.

any idea ????

Hi Bro, I had similar problems with my network @home and i played around with the settings and got it right...

This was what i did... After detecting network, i set my wifi as a access point... Went into the setting and type in my key... then changed the network to "Share". It worked for me...

Hope this helps!

Hi, unfortunately this doesn't work. Switching to 'shared' immediately changes the encryption mode to WEP.

My router (connected via ADSL) is using WPA PSK.

Entering the WEP key in the access point results always in 'invalid key'.

For WEP key in use I can only select between #1, #2, #3 and #4, no idea what that means.

Hi, let me share my settings for my network and see if it helps...
Although I use "Search for networks", I altered the security mode to be an "Open network"...
It works for me...

In another case where I was using free network in shopping malls, I had to use the default browser to log on before switching to Opera...
