^ It depenRAB. Personally, I see it as a "frontal attack" on Church's hierarchy and certain organizations such as the Opus Dei.
Obviously, it's not about a large social group (ethnic, race, by gender, age, status, nationality, political ideology, class, job, etc.), and of course there are songs much more offensive than this one. But if you see it from the point of view of the "offended", we could say that, at least, it's "controversial". Dan Brown has been branded "offensive" by some for writing similar ideas.
Anyway, I admit the matter is subjetive.
