Off topic but does anybody here live in Fl?

We are considering selling and moving south anybody know about wages in the sarasota area???
Specifically in the heavy equipment repair field or related just for a comparison
Lusty yea at 48 years old i have heard they have those there. I just can't get companies to get off what wage ranges they pay down there some sort of "competition" thing I am just trying to see if the pay grades are acceptable so i can BUY hurricane insurance.
Chuck Ju..Yea I finally found mean income by counties for FL thanks for the help though bud
John thanks sir yep we are in My background and years in the trade kinda keep me in demand it is JUST the situation we are looking for. I have over 15 years in as a Cat certified transmission and hydraulics specialist so I can kinda get in pretty well and cheap housing and no more fuckin snow sounds good to me!!!

well, sarasota is 50miles north of ground zero of the housing bubble, so houses are dirt cheap, property taxes are cheap, no state income tax. Wages? state unemployment is around 12%, some counties are as high as 17%. If you can get a job, you already doing well.

Take a look at Texas. We always welcome those who are willing to work for a living. Lots of heavy equipment being used in Texas. I own an excavation business and I'll tell you first hand that it is very difficult to get back up and running whenever I have a breakdown.
