My girlfriend and I are going to Italy for vacation next week. And one of my stops will be the Ducati factory in Bolonga. Anyone ever been there? I've been to Italy a few times before but this will be my first trip to the factory.

Outlaw,

The Motogp race in Mugelo is on June 3rd! If your still in Italy on the 3rd, that's a must see! The Mugelo circuit is on the highway that runs from Bologna, (where the Ducati factory is), to Florence, closer to Florence. Mugelo is considered Ducati's "Home" track. There's gonna be a special section in the grandstands for Ducatisti. If you go to: www.Ducati.com, you can buy tickets for the Ducatisti fan section in the grandstands.

Going to the race would be the perfect cap to your Italian Ducati vacation!

Have fun!

Trust me I would kill to go to that race. But Alas I will be back on the 29th. But if I'm going to be that close I might have to at least go to the track. To bad none of the riders or teams will be getting there till the thursday after I leave.

I was there 5 years ago. They required an appointment for the factory tour back than. Be sure to stop by at the Ducati dealership in Bologne - they have all the latest Ducati accessories and parts in STOCK!

HF is a man with a plan! I like it.

I'm leaving the 26th for southern Europe. I currently have my ticket for Barcelona on June 10th, and am thinking about expanding my motogp plans to include Mugelo, but damn, the tix are mad expensive! 104 Euros, plus fees, for Barcelona, and 170 Euros, plus fees, for Mugelo! That's a whole lot of money for a 45 minute race! I know, the ticket, includes time trials, etc..., but it's still pricey.

I have to admit though, I'm so jazzed about my new 1098, I have mixed emotions about going to see Motogp in Europe. Part of me just wants to stay home and ride!

If you are worried about money just sit on the hill!!! My buddy and I went in 2004 and it was insane!! We camped out the whole weekend (don't plan on sleeping) DJs playing music, fireworks and bikes doing burnouts till dawn!!! One of the best experiences ever...

Oh yeah, don't plan on driving outta there after the race for at least a few hours. Narrow northern Italy roads...
