Off-balance reasoning

Hi there! I am sorry that I am not sure about your questions, but I can offer some of my experiences that are similar.

I had full blood work done last year and then again this past month and everything came back normal. I often feel worst in the morning. I feel drunk and stumble around as I try to get ready for work. Sometimes I fall over or trip. The dizzy, off-balance feeling makes me feel drowsy and tired, sometimes nauseous. I'm very clumsy and sometimes feel forgetful too.

I am suspecting that I have chronic sinus issues/allergies. I don't get too much sneezing or any of that kind of allergies, but I notice that my head feels a bit cloudy. I feel pressure on my face on the upper cheek area. It doesn't hurt and it's like that all the time, so I'm used to it and hardly notice it. My head spins though. Last fall I did have some pain when I had bronchitis and took sinus pain medication along with my chest congestion meds. I felt the BEST I had all year. I was still congested, but I felt less dizzy! I felt more alert and felt that a cloud had been lifted away from me. I feel like it's coming back on slowly though. The allergens have NOT been high where I live, so I think it might just be general dust that bothers me. I bought a new mattress so hopefully that will help. My home is very new and doesn't have a lot of dust, but the mattress was older. I think there might be a lot of dust at my work too.

Do you think this could be a possibility for you? Just another thing to think about in case the other items don't seem to be the issue. It drives me nuts and I just want to feel normal. It really interferes with my days. My mom suggested this to me first and bought me some sinus rinse, which helps. She has sinus troubles too. I'm going to start using my sinus rinse every day and possibly those sinus meds and see how it goes. If no luck, I will hopefully see a doctor soon!

I'm not sure if it'd be allergies as I'm currently staying in the home where I grew up, and I never had these problems growing up.

It could be anxiety.

I think I had my thyroid checked, hormones, I even went as far as to having a Brain CT, just to make sure things weren't in my head. I've had numerous urinalysis exams. I've been to a urologist, pulmonologist, gastroenterologist (where I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy), opthamologist, etc.

I am 24 years old, and the last 8-9 months have been the worst of my life.

hey try,we meet again. the thing about any symptom is kind of tracking it back to its governing base of operations so to speak? this would be the cerebellum or the spinocerebellar tract within the spinal cord too, they kind of work together. the cerebellum is the place that governs our balance, vision and what is called our proprioperception too which is our ability to know where any of our body parts are in relation to space. i lost some of my proprio(to my legs) during my spinal cord surgery only because they hit that cerebellar tract within it during the surgery, among other damaged things.

but looking at your balance from that cerebellar aspect and seeing a neurologist who could send you for a contrasted MRI of your brain could help in really defining alot of what have been ongoing symptoms for you. trust me, you just have no real clue as to what is really going on or simply 'in' your own body areas til you get that look inside it.

just what exact types of real scans have been done on you so far and where(what body areas)? certain medications can also impact that cerebellum too. lyrica kept sending me to the left and into walls, and gave me up and down double vision. it was really an insane med that severely impacts the cerebellum. and this area is also the place that alcohol impacts when we drink it? its effects just start to anesthetize the cerebellum til if you drink way too much, it can actually put it totally to sleep and kill you. but when the police do those sobriety checks and have you run thru all those tests, including checking your balance? they ARE checking how impacted your proprio actually is within the cerebellum. they simply check balance and vision/gaze,and also memory. just a tid bit of info for ya.

so if you have not yet seen a neuro for the ongoing symptoms, now would be the time and to also just get a good solid look into it too with the contrasted MRI. you just to see what could be going on up there. its just another possible thing that needs to be checked out and either ruled out or in as a possible for your symptoms at this point try. i really do hope you can find some type of actual Dx or basic reasons for all you have been dealing with here. i know its been awhile. please keep us posted, FB
