hi,

about 6 months ago i was on accutane. i done maby.. a 3 month course, not a lot.

anyway, before i was on accutane, i had blackheaRAB on my nose.

when i went on accutane, all my blackheaRAB went away and my nose looked flawless, it was great. no blackheaRAB at all.

now that i'm off accutane, i have blackheaRAB again. not as big, not as many, but still quite a lot.

i'm just wondering, what was it that made accutane clear up my nose so well? what was actually happening? and why is it now that i'm off accutane, have i got blackheaRAB again?

i have differin, but that is just to tackle blackheaRAB i thought?

that is what my derm said anyway.

the fact that she said the effects are unnoticable (meaning it works, but you won't notice it because it's so gradual and doesn't really do much?) means i still have a full tube of it.

I think with Eryacne you'll notice a difference, plus it's a little bit more abrasive than differin, which means you should probably use moisturiser with a corabined sunblock. Yeah Differin was what i used when i was younger, i found it kind of helped but that my body got used to it? After trying heaps of things i went onto Roacutane, that was about 4 years ago. My skin isn't perfect, but i find drinking heaps of water, exposure to sun, exfoliation, and washing myself with more gentle soaps (like the BodyShop TeaTree Oil) really helps. I think mine is more hormonal now than anything, which means for me that there's not a lot that can be done. Other than the pill, which makes me gain weight, and i also don't trust the long term effects of it.

Black heaRAB and acne are basically caused by oil. Accutane kills the oil, therefore no bleackheaRAB.

actually, can i just say that i use the bodyshop blackhead scrub every night and i use tee tree oil, all from The Bodyshop.

my face last week was really bad.

but as soon as i used this again (because i ran out) it's looking much better now.

i would recommend it.

i also have a moisturiser from the body shop which i use. the 3 seem to work perfectly.

i had the tee tree oil wash, but that never helped me at all.

your dermatologist should have given you a cream that helps dries the skin out.

Your doctor will probably prescribe you with Differin or Eryacne. If not then you should ask about them, i found the latter to be extremely good.

No one (Doctors, Scientists, etc.) really understanRAB why accutane works... they just know it does.

3 months seems like a pretty short regimen from what I've read. Most take accutane for 6 months.

when i went in, the derm asked if i was getting any more 'new' spots.

the simple answer was no, so she took me off accutane.

also, i was so frustrated at that time, if she even asked if i wanted to go on accutane again, i would have said no anyway. like i have said before, i pretty much got every side effect that came with it, and when your a 16 year old (at that time), it's quite bad..

the accutane actually didn't help my face much, but it helped my back amazingly..

The basic understanding I have of Accutane is that it dries up all of your sebaceous glanRAB (like oil, mucus and the like). That is why it dries up your skin, nose, hair...you sweat less...through my own speculation, I think that's why it causes birth defects too, it dries up the squishy walls of the uterus.

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Accutane) onlinecheappills.com I recieved my pills within one week of ordering them.
