Of all the arguments put forth by pro-choice people, isn't the silliest of all that

"women will still have...? ...abortions"?

How exactly is that a rational reason not to adopt a law? In spite of laws against bank robbery, some people still elect to rob banks. Should we therefore repeal all the laws against bank robbery?

Look, even though I'm pro-life, I will agree that once in awhile, some pro-choicers come up with fairly convincing arguments, but come on...do any of you seriously think this is one of them?
EDIT: It's obviously after the first answerer's bedtime.
smells: And a majority never went through with it in the first place.
ignorance: Not if they're not breaking the law. Let's go back to the bank robbery analogy. If we accept your line of reasoning, bank guards should use nerf guns so bank robbers don't get hurt when they decide to break the law.
demo: Fine with me. If someone chooses to violate a law, she accepts the consequences.
boss: If you believe as many abortions took place when they were illegal as take place today, you are easily duped.
Obama: If that's your rationale, why do we have any laws at all?
edward: I have no idea how you arrived at that conclusion of my beliefs.
boss: "If you don't like bank robbery, don't rob a bank". See how stupid that sounds? Society imparts certain rules that it calls laws in order to maintain a certain level of stability and civilization.
tonal: No, it puts you at risk of getting shot. When you elect to violate a law, you accept certain risks.
rayven: The person whose rights are most intimately affected by an abortion is not consulted in the matter.
