I think there was slightly more to the disagreement than just the screen size, but they don't tell us at site-level what it was all about.
But, put it this way...
If my cinema had picked up Rambo this week, we would have lost Juno, lost National Treasure 2 and would not have been able to pick up a copy of No Country for Old Men.
Juno and National Treasure are doing well between them, and No County is doing exceptionally well. We've not lost any business, infact we've probably gained some by picking up No Country, which was a relatively limited release.
And, dropping Rambo meant we could commit to more prints of Be Kind Rewind, also released last Fri, so cinemas that might not have shown that in the first place ended up doing so.
