I'm going to London next weekend and we have decided to go and see the Da Vinci Code at the Odeon in Leicester Sq.

Does anyone know what it is like inside? I know it is about

As long as it's the main screen, it's pretty comfy and spacious if not really luxurious for the money (it's the price of a DVD ferchrissakes!). The movie has been getting very poor reviews so you might want to see something else if you're going to spend that much!

Make sure they don't send you to one of the smaller screens which are the equivalent of being in a pokey living room looking at a large screen LCD TV but cost

The Odeon has a lovely big screen, but the seats are 'old style' i.e., not tiered/angled down, so if a person of average height sits in front of you, expect to be craning your head for a better view. Last film I saw at OLSQ was Episode II: AOTC and I couldn't see a thing. Even the multiplexes, where you could see The Da Vinci Code for a fiver, have better seating layouts. Age old problem of basketball players sitting in front of you have disappeared. Save your bucks and go to an alternate, not worth the

They've replaced some of the seats since AOTC, and they were meant to completely refurbish the rest after ROTS (don't know if they ever did).

Hey guys thanks very much for the advice - we haven't bought tickets yet so don't know where we would have been sitting but your comments have made me re-think going. The only other film we were thinking about was X-Men 3.

But i'm short so i don't want to risk not being able to see anything - might save my pennies and watch both films when get back home (can see both for the price of the Leicester Sq tickets).

Thanks again.

What's a 'bob'? Doesn't sound like legal currency to me. I only know two people called Bob, the rest of them got killed the last time I went BobSledding.

If you pay extra for the Royal Circle then you get more leg room and it's very nice.

It's best (non XMAX) cinema in Europe, and everyone should see big blockbusters there!
