About Me:
I'm 19, Male and Healthy...
Earlier in my life and during my school years I have got used to drinking very small amounts of water and liquid. I would usually drink about 0.25L to 0.50L in the day - but this was fine. I never had any symptoms of dehydration, dry skin or concentration issues - none of it.
Suddenly, since the end of December I have been feeling increasingly dehydrated all of the time despite drinking way over what I'm used to drinking (today, I've calculated 2.5L.) I've noticed:
- In the morning, I wake up with a completely dry mouth despite adequate level of drinking the day before.
- My pee is bright yellow and smells bad (although sometimes the smell is quite nice
)
- My mouth is dry and more viscous than normal. My lips are dry. I'm borrowing my sisters moisturiser for my dry facial skin in the morning.
- I used to NEVER get a hangover (and be dehydrated) after even the biggest nights out, but now I wake up with a booming hangover after a couple of pints :dizzy: )
To thicken the plot, this has all started around the time of a cold. Just a standard week long cold which has appeared to have totally gone. Just thought this info might help.
LONG STORY SHORT: My bodies 'Liquid Management' (which I used to be quite proud of) has just gone AWOL. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks everyone,
Pete
