I seem to have a problem with persisting coffee colored tongue, the thing is I haven't drank coffee or soda or even tea for almost a week to make it like that.
Online research suggested only two causes, one is jaundice and the other is a reaction to antibiotics. My skin is not jaundiced and the last time I had antibiotics was a year ago. Also the pictures that went along with those causes didn't look like mine either.
I was sick the last week, had this odd cold that was accompanied by sore throat and a feeling that there was congestion somewhere between the nose and throat. But there is a possibility the tongue color appeared earlier than that.
Is there anything else that would explain this?
