I was just reading reading about the announced sequel Oceans 13 and wondering if this is a sequel too far?
Appartently it will include George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and Don Cheadle but Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones wont feature in this new sequel. It is due to be released in the summer of 2007!
I thought Ocean 11 was great but I was very disappointed by Oceans 12 and have not got high hopes for Oceans 13. I just hope that I am surprised when I go and see Oceans 13 next year!
 
I loved Ocean's 11 but Ocean's 12 was a travesty of a film. My friend watched it before me and told me how awful it was but i didn't believe him. I will watch this sequel when it comes out but don't have high hopes.
 
Yeh I agree Oceans 11 was amazing but 12 was a big let down. Doing another one is maybe going too far. However, if they pull off a film similar to 11, I think they could go on to make many more and start a brand (like James Bond).

13 is definately unlucky so I doubt it

The costs would probably be enormous so I assume there's little chance if any chance of getting the major players involved (it's one thing thing doing a film for little money so it could get done but it's a whole other kettle of fish about TV pay structures)..
 
Al Pacino has been confirmed as appearing in Oceans 13. Here is the offical press release:

There might be a Ocean 14 as well but without Steven Soderbergh according to Dark Horizons:

"Steven Soderbergh confirmed in an interview at the Edinburgh Film Festival last night that "Ocean's 13" would be the last in the Ocean's series - at least with him involved.

Reports submitted to Clooney Studio say that during the Q&A, Soderbergh told the crowd the news and added "George wanted "to go out strong", and Ocean's 12 was too complicated. Ocean's 13 is a comedy, and this time Al Pacino is a great bad guy in fact "this guy's a monster". The report comes only a day or two after producer Jerry Weintraub told the trades "I want them [the cast] all back for 'Ocean's 14.'"

Meanwhile production designer Phil Messina says the big finale of the film, set in the main floor area of Al Pacino's casino, is on a custom 40,000 square feet set on Warners Stage 16. Requiring 12 weeks to build and taking up three levels, the set includes restaurants, high roller suites, 450 slot machine and a koi pond."
 
Are they going to do 10 prequels to 11 while they're at it?

They should've called 12 something else, it sounRAB stupid. Athough it was a stupid film so I guess it fits.

11 was brilliant though.
 
Is it true that
Andy Garcia's character joins Danny's gang
. I've not seen oceans 12 or 13 but could someone tell me why
Benedict is now pally with Ocean?
