Oceans 13

Came in to have a look at opinions on this and saw there was no thread!

Anyone seen it yet? Thoughts/opinions? Better than 11 and 12?
 
It opens today so i suppose no one could have seen it until at least later today. I just hope it is like the first one and not the awful second film which was all over the place and didnt make sense. It looked like the cast were having a whale of a time filming it but forgot to let the audience in on it!
 
was hoping someone might have an advanced screening or something - rotten tomatoes has an average of 70% for it but I like to hear views from "non-critics"
 
I hope to go & see this tomorrow.I've only read 2 reviews & they have been pretty kind about the movie.Both reviews made reference in how bad Ocean's 12 was (which i agree) & this 1 is meant to be back to basics like the first movie.
 
I saw Oceans 13 tonight and really enjoyed it. Its one of the best blockbusters of the summer so far. I agree that is a lot better than 12 but not quite as good as 11. I have to say that I hope they leave this as the final film and dont do anymore!
 
I went & saw this yesterday afternoon.Good entertaining movie,far better than Ocean's 12.Back to what they do best.

1 scene that got the audience laughing was the scene between Geroge & Brad watching part of the Oprah episode & both were nearly crying.
 
Sorry, I have to disagree with people on here. Saw it on Saturday, and I thought it was rubbish.

Really pedestrian plot, there was no spark or magic, hardly any laughs with the characters. Whereas the first 2 were stretching reality with a tongue firmly in cheek, this isn't in the same class. Was it the same script-writer/s even?

I was so disappointed having liked the first two films.
 
You stole my thunder! I though it was rubbish too. Overlong, not funny and no sign of a storyline at all. My OH only liked the bits with George in, she thought the rest was also pants!
 
He was the judge from the "5 Diamond" awarRAB people, a Hotel Inspector if you like. The Ocean's lot put in their own guy and made it look like he was the Hotel Inspector
 
Saw it last night and was pleasantly surprised, thank god it was not the 'smugfest' that was 12 (the strength of my ire toward O12 surprised me - fabulously good looking people, obviously having far too much fun and earning far too much money doing it - pity they didn't take the time on the plot, script, acting, but hey enough about O12)

O.13 really liked it and would watch it again:)
 
Hi guys, I've got a quick question about Ocean's 13.

I've seen both Oceans 11 & 12 and want to see Ocean's 13 tonight with my girlfriend, but she hasn't seen 11 or 12...do you think that you need to watch 11 and 12 in order to 'get' all of 13?
