Ocean's 12 - what did you think?

I apologise if there already exists a thread for feedback on this movie, I just couldn't find it.

I saw this movie at the weekend and I must say I was quite disappointed. Not nearly as good as the first movie was.

And there was one particular plot line I especially did not enjoy. I thought it was really, really corny. I would imagine those that have seen it will know what I am referring to. In case I am not being clear enough...it is where they involve Tess.

I would like to hear what others thought of the movie.

I liked it. What's got on my nerves though were people around me who kept talking throught it and moaning that they didnt know what was going on. It's very silly but still very simple really all in all.

The Julia Roberts 'thing' was a bit strange and smug for its own good though. If that storyline is to work, then the other people in the film should have been mistaken for Hollywood stars too while in Europe.

I haven't seen the first one, but thought this was rather dire. Some nice lines, but the whole thing just seemed like a bunch of frienRAB having a laugh travelling around Europe. The whole Julia Roberts thing was just cringeworthy. Looked very nice, but no substance at all. If it didn't have the actors it does in it I doubt it would have been made at all.

As part of the film the Tess character has to

pretend to be Julia Roberts as part of the robbery scam - the fact she looks like her is mentioned several times during the film. Please don't get me to talk about the bit when Bruce Willis, playing himself, turns up thinking Tess is Julia Roberts - it's as cringeworthy as it sounRAB *insert vomit smilie*

Thanks.

I am quite shocked now. I never thought they would do something like that. It sounRAB very stupid and as cringeworthy as many of you have said.

How many lines does Don Cheadle have, if you stick your fingers in your ears when he talks will it affect the plot ?

I enjoyed Oceans Twelve but it wasn't as good as Oceans Eleven. Its just a good mindless film that doesnt require much thought when watching it!

I thought it was ok at first, I was watching the first half and wondering why all the critics had it in for the film, then they started all that Julia Roberts stuff and it just totally ruined it for me. One of the most idiotic things I have ever seen in a film. I get the idea there were too many stars on set who thought it was a good idea, and had to have their way.

Did anyone else think Julia Roberts looked a bit ill?

My girlfriend & I went to see this on Sunday night even though we had read dodgy reviews and other people's comments on this thread.

Have to say that I agree with many of the comments. The Tess storyline was just silly.

Overall, (forgetting the Tess storyline) the film was ok, had some moments but nowhere as watchable or as enjoyable as the first movie.

me n my m8 watched oceans eleven on sunday & he found it very confusing. So i doubt he'll make any sense out of ocean's twelve. :)
