i watched Oceans 12 yesturday! HUH!

dont get it!

i was o.k (gettin' it , not gettin it, gettin it , etc,), until Julia Roberts made a 2nd appearance (she was in it for the first few mins, then made a re-appearance about 3/4s the way through!) then it went tits up!,

a few questions?

what happened to the chinese bloke AFTER he got put in a hodall?
Who was Julia Roberts meant to be imitating (why did she have to sound like a southerner and drop the G'S)
Why was Bruce Willis in it?
and was Catherine Zeta Jones in it all along? (i guess she wasn't)
and is there gonna be an oceans 13 'cos the nightfox quoted a number that tess and danny revealed at the end, how did nightfox know that number?

ALSO, how did danny and rusty know that le marc, was CZJ daughter B4 they nicked the Faberge egg!

and how did sittin in a cab did CZJ know that they were gonna nick the Faberge egg based on a few random descriptions?

I saw this about a month or so ago. Didn't rate it much. I thought it was very weak. Another sequel that didn't need to be ( and shouldn't have been ) made
 
Not liking Oceans 12, and in turn not getting it, does not mean films aren't for you.

It's unappealing Hollywood fluff, in my opinion, just like the first. Appealing to people on the basis that it has a lot of stars in it, rather than being a good film.
 
it is true that i only watch films if they have big stars in them, i probably wouldn't watch a film that has actors i don't like in them, but isn't that the same with everyone?!

the actors sell the film in my opinion, would you watch a film with unknowns in? i wouldn't
 
Completely closed off view of film then?

Maybe it's because I spent 3 years at Uni watching them (Not claiming anmy better knowledge, or right, just the fact that i've seen, and had access, even on occassions forced to watch, a very wide range), but saying you wouldn't watch a film with unknowns is just pandering to the studios.

Put a big star in your film and people will watch it even if it is unsufferable shit. :rolleyes:

Depending on how you define unknown, you probably missed out on the likes of Bully, Donnie Darko, and about a million great foreign films.
