When I press the action button to go to the sewers (right after the tutorial level) it shows the loading screen with a random Oblivion fact and then it crashes. What should I do?

I have windows 7 now, but I don't think that matters. What should I do? Should I reinstall the game? I've been watching play troughs of this game and it seems very, very fun. So please, if you can tell me what I should do. Thanks in advance.
