Oblivion Pc Game, Mods Help?

Got Pc for christmas no problem with pc and got oblivion, mass effect 2 and Fallout 3.. .All these games play fine. and i wanted to get mods for oblivion since theres some really cool mods for it so i download mods from tes nexus and then extract them in winrar and etc. and then some work some dont. like 65% of them work. P.S why is this?.... and now and again the game will chrash and i cant load up any saves i have to delete all my save data and mods then uninstall and reinstall like every week or 2 and why is this is it normal and its really annoying i jsut want to play oblivion with mods installed but theres allways problems and i put them in data files fine so no problem there... i dont think anyway. So yea whats the problem, here?... pLEase rRePly
