Oblivion Crew...

no you dont have to get arrested
just look around for the Grey Fox poster which will give you that option in conversation
next get a beggers disposition above 70 and then the begger will ask if your looking for the thieves guild. tell em you want to work with grey fox and they tell you the meeting place to join the guild

its alot better then paying your bounty to go to jail

in for answer

I forgot to find her and just noticed it in the strat guide.
I'm guessing the Inn in Anvil. About to go find out. (well... in awhile, i forgot i was parked in the middle of a dungeon)

Just completed main quest, that was sweet! I'm a level 10 now going back and finishing the mage and fighters guils. Good game and tons of fun!

oh and somebody inform me on WHAT THE FUCK THIS VAMPIRE SHIT IT

I can't even go out in daylight now without being killed in 10 seconds

What else is affected, and how do I cure this shit?

The guilds are in every city. You can sell your stuff at the stores in town.

They give you a horse in one of those first quests... and you can keep it even if you fast travel... so I can't really see the sense in buying one.

I got in by first joining the thieves guild. I was looking for a fence, and ended up in Bruma. I completed a quest to kill someone (woman) in her home, and the next time I slept, the DB came to offer me membership. I hear you can do it just by murdering someone. It's definitely a fun, but hard, guild to be a part of.

I'm sure most of you probably already know, but for those that don't http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page is probably the most helpful Oblivion site I've found.

when you buy a house youre usually prompted with quest info in the quest log, telling you to go buy items at different trade goods stores. For example, if you buy a house in Chorrol, you'd go to northern goods and trade and buy the different "parts" (kitchen, storage, dining etc.) from the merchant there. Each one is city specific.

Well hell, I dunno. Doesn't seem to be at the Anvil Inn.

Oh... I think its actually at the Brina Cross Inn, north of Anvil.

(well fuck there's my first freeze )
