has anyone had the quest where you have to kill the vampire roland, and your suppose to visit the first edition in the market district and talk to Phintias?? because im on that quest right now and i go into the book store but phintas says hes not going to discuss customers with a stranger when you try to ask him about serduir ive tried everything, any help?

Found this map in a post on gamefaqs showing where the statue is that gives you the skeleton key quest. Only thing though, you have to be at least level 10 before you can start the quest.

any paralyze spell = "I win" button
Seriously... one cast and the person you are fighting falls over. then slash-slash-slash. Then before the spell wears off, cast the paralyze spell again.
They won't have a chance to attack back...
This spell is a blast, espically after casting it. The creature falls over so limply. Its fun watching them tumble down a hill with their arms and legs flailing over the place

Man, I've done so many Gates that it's uber easy now. They are all pretty much the same, the puzzles are different, but still the same concept. The goal is to get to the BIG tower, the top of it, grab the orb/sphere and wait. I suggest people start going into them for the uber enchants you can get. Feather 400 is real nice.

If you get the stats from an enchanted shield even if you aren't using it?... and using a 2 handed sword instead? I ask because it says in the inventory that its equipped, even though its not actually in my hand during the fights. Seems like its probably working anyway.

Yes. Currently part of the thieves, mages, and Dark Brotherhood guilds. Having a really hard time with the 3rd contract for the DB. I need a chameleon spell/outfit.
