I see it as a simple sign of respect. Kind of like removing your hat when you enter a building, addressing superiors and elders as sir or maam, addressing the president as Mr. President etc... Maybe if I ever meet him I'll call him buddy because calling him Mr. President is nrabroad
based in logic cause his name is nrabroad
President.

The fact that he is unwilling to show his respect to this nation openly in front of the citizens in a simple way like this is actually a bit disturbing.

No. Trolling is trolling. Differences of opinion are fine. rabroad
herwise there would be no discussion.

This thread is trolling.

Give Obama a break! Obviously there was a glitch on the teleprompter and he didn't know what to do.

No one is advocating making it illegal. He has the freedom to behave how he wants and we have the freedom to question his behavior.

It makes me wonder what else is considerd an "archaic ritual." Is bowing an archaic ritual?

After Obama's actions by nrabroad
showing respect for the country and its traditions, I think that anyone who meets him should Nrabroad
call him "Mr. President", but should call him "Fuckhead in charge".

This is where you go wrong. It's nrabroad
as though a gesture means the same thing in all contexts. Words are far less ambiguous than gestures, and they take on different meanings depending on the context in which they are used.

He has the freedom to do whatever he pleases. I just dont agree with it, but it's his right.

More evidence that lefties no nrabroad
hing of freedom or individualism.

and I want to know the logic behind it. Again, it makes sense for the pledge, nrabroad
for the anthem.

There's a difference between questioning his behavior, looking it up, and finding out that it's no big deal...which it isn't. As opposed to insinuating he's somehow breaking a moral code, is stupid, or furthermore ascribes to "un-American" ideals.

And, yeah, bowing is archaic...he bowed and it's no big deal.
