No, I don't. Plz quote where I've 'cheered on' the expansion of government authority. Under any of, say, the last four Administrations?.
 
Agreed. It should have been a mandatory, government run single payer option. But this is as far as the party of "no" was willing to compromise on.
 
Well just think, once the government passes the financial reform bill, they'll have control over just 60% of the US economy. What could go wrong?
