President Barack Obama is the winner of Florida’s 29 electoral votes in a narrow race that nearly resulted in a recount.
The four-day count came to a final Saturday resulting with Obama’s electoral vote lead over Republican Challenger Mitt Romney growing to 332 compared to Romney’s 206.
On Saturday, the Florida Secretary of State’s Office said Obama led Romney 50 percent to 49.1 percent, with only a 74,000-vote difference – just over the half-percent margin that would have forced a recount to be ordered.
