Does he understand that the? fact that the choice is not clear is the exact reason why we have an ideological debate?

I don't often think of a grand conspiracy but I can not help but believe something bigger is going on here. He is trying to convince the people that the this climate change bill will solve all our employment problems. Also, if you look at job loses in May and June the percentages don't add up. I'll try to find it. There were fewer jobs lost last month than this month and the unemployment numbers did not jive.

Can Obama sign a bill if it does not pass in the Senate? Do you know? Can he use reconciliation of some sort?
 
Of course he understands this. It is rhetorical double-talk aimed at blaming Republicans for all of our problems. As if we would all just fall in line, everything would come up roses. Hitler.

Zaza, you are not alone in your conspiracy theory. I wonder why big business isn't jumping up and down and throwing all kinds of money at Congress right now.
