Bush did a bang up job fucking things up, no denying that, but what has happened in just the last 3 years was nothing short of stupendous compared to Bush.

Stimulus: Half of the $1.2T Democrats/economists wanted and all of the tax cuts, which do nothing in a recession, that Republicans wanted. Result = Republican stimulus

Healthcare: No public option that Dems wanted, essentially the same as Romney's plan. Result = Republican based healthcare plan.

Wars: Doubled down on Bush's ideas. Result = Republican strategy.

Taxes: Extended Bush's tax cuts, then caved on any revenue increases in the debt deal. Result = Republican debt deal/tax policy.

Gay marriage: Still won't publicly support it. Result = Republican strategy.
