Obama giving financial oversight powers to the Fed Reserve?

What do you think of Obama wanting to give so much authority to the Fed Reserve? This is such a black and white issue that if you think it's a good idea, you can only be one of two things: uninformed about what the Fed Reserve is, or you're a central banker.

Well Bush is gone. So can't keep blaming him. Who would be stupid enough to volunteer as Obama and the liberals fall guy to blame it on when it totally tanks, besides the Fed?

Gietner was appointed as sec of treasury to make sure fed reserve gained more power, of course they are now giving them mroe power, even during a time where people are calling for an audit of the fed reserve (which will of course not happen).

Dems want to control more and more of private sector, they are giving powers to take control of any company they feel is an integral part of the economy, which could mean anyone.
