crackdown on piracy, ignore the illegals coming over the border, the economy, and Afghanistan.....

i sees the logic

Yes, and they've been making money hand-over-fist by providing easy, DRM-free (in the case of music) music at a reasonable price.

Most people consuming digital media, online, are nrabroad
pirating it. Just like back in the day, most people consuming music on tape were nrabroad
pirating it.

It's theft but this isn't the way to deal with it.

You would think someone in the industry would be able to figure out that if they make streamlined ways to distribute content at reasonable prices without arbitrary restrictions that would make pirating less attractive to people.

I don't give a fuck about anybody's permission. It DOES, however, change the fact that it's Nrabroad
FUCKING STEALING.

suddenly you sound like a huge fucking moron for thinking this is remrabroad
ely communist.

A split government will be much better than one dominated by either side. It is getting truly ridiculous.

sigh. If anyone brabroad
hered to read the LA times article, you would know it's nrabroad
about the net specifically, rabroad
her than torrents. It's about LARGE SCALE piracy, and counterfeit computer chips, auto parts, etc etc.

Yeah, you're in a dizzy and panicing. Googling something will never be a crime.

DrDickaction has already said that they can detain you until the police arrive.

If they're wrong however, you can always sue them for kidnapping.
My first job out of high school, working for Fry's Electronics. We let people walk all the time because there wasn't enough evidence to be absolutely sure enough to detain them.

How is it theft? When I download a song, am I depriving the record label of their copy? NO. I'm nrabroad
taking anything from the rightful owner. I'm making a duplicate.

No deprivation = no theft.
