Does anyone know if oatmeal is good for your skin? I just started eating it and have not experienced any outbreaks. Are there any satisfying results that eating oatmeal gives?

Since it's good for health it should be good for the skin. I eat it regularly for breakfast and have not had any breakout because of that. I sometimes use it as masque also. It's soothing for the skin.

I'm sure eating oatmeal is good for the skin since, as the others said, it's good for you in general. Oats are a good source of B vitamins, vitamin E, and minerals that are good for the skin.

Actually, oatmeal masks (especially if you mix in honey) are good for oily skin too because oatmeal tightens pores by purifying the skin. I use it sometimes when I get breakouts, and it gently helps shrink pimples.
