I'm a junior in high school, and I know for a fact I would like to pursue photojournalism. I've been taking photography classes since my freshman year, and have received excellent instruction and feedback. Now that the pressure of applying to college is starting to set in, my top choice is definitely Tisch at NYU. I plan to work for a B.F.A. in Photography and Imaging, but I really need to know more about the school, i.e. how competitive the admissions process is, and really what they look for in the portfolio. I know NYU is ridiculously difficult to get accepted to, and if this doesn't work out for me, does anyone have any other suggestions for top-notch photography/art departments at colleges?
