NY law enforcement officers, question on airhorn/siren sounds?

I want to install a airhorn in my vehicle(an electronic one which the emergency vehicles use like an.ambulance and police one) NOT a siren . I would like it for safety purposes since the stock horn on my vehicle is sometimes not loud enough and cant be heard to well in the noisy streets of nyc so i can warn people. It is only a emergency airhorn sound , not a siren tone...

What are the legalities of this, is it acceptable?
