Do community colleges offer nursing programs? I'm thinking of getting an associate degree at a community college, then start working as a nurse, then go back and finish the last two years in a Cal State University.
Is that possible?
Do you need to have a major in nursing?
Im just a high school sophmore, but I do know that I want to be a registered nurse when I grow up. I just want to see all of the possible ways I can do to be sucessfull.

many local colleges offer nursing and i would highly suggest looking in to those before going to a big college for several reasons, one being the cost, my sister is going to a big college for nursing and it is 16,000 a year, i'm going to a smaller local college for the exact same thing and my entire tuition for the whole progam is 10,000 and a nurse is a nurse, i have yet to meet a hospital or nursing home that looks at where you got your degree from to decide wether to hire you, plus experiance is what makes a good nurse, i don't how you want to work as a nurse then go back and finish schooling as a nurse, maybe im misunderstanding unless you mean your bachlors degree, but a community college would be just fine.
