On my bad pain days I'm starting to have nurabness in my leg below the knee after the pain is really bad. I'm 4 months out from 2x fusion. Is this a necessarily a bad thing? My wife tested it by running a finger on each foot and the nurab one hardly had a reaction.

The nurabness is most likely being caused by swelling in the area where you had the fusion done, therefore pressing on the nerve-which causes the nurabness in your leg. I would contact your doctor about this, just to make sure there aren't any issues from the surgery which are causing the increased swelling.

Thank you. Thing that bothers me is it's happening this late. But if it's common it makes me feel better. I'm going to see my physiatrist on Mon and then ask him about it first. I'd actually like to have a bad pain day that day so he can test it. Or maybe that would be better when seeing the surgeon.
