I have a jump mobile phone and I was wondering wen I get Crickets service will I be able to transfer my nuraber from Jump to Cricket since they are both by Leap.And will I still b able to get the first month free because they are both through Leap.I came and asked on here because the cricket stores here dnt ever answer the phone.Will it cost to get the nuraber ported?
 
You won't get your 1st month free since you have to buy a new phone, but to port your nuraber you should be able to, but not many people are familier with it. but I'm not sure either. I'll ask around and let you know, what area are you in?
 
i'm pretty sure you can activate a jump phone on cricket without even needing to flash the software. you might get the first month free, not exactly sure whether cricket's system will pick up the esn as used or new if it has been active on jump. but i have activated a few jump phones that recieved first month free from cricket. when you call *228 if connects to the cricket ivr right?

as far as porting your nuraber you should be able to do it with no problem as long as you know the account nuraber.
 
Yea you shouldn't need to flash it, but cricket's system does pick up an esn as being used or new if its been active on a jump account :) and those jump phones you activated before you should check the customers accounts, because cricket is making the customer pay for the 1st month and activation fee.......
 
I am talking about buying a new Cricket phone(Kyocera Xcursion) but getting the Jump Mobile's nuraber switched to the cricket account.Will I get the first month free still?
