Nude Photography Laws?

I love photography and I was wondering what are the laws on nude photography? If I wanted to use myself in my photographs, would that be illegal? The photos would not be pornographic at all and actually wouldn't even be exposing much. Most likely my breasts would be partially covered so that there aren't nipples showing. And my bottom half (between the legs), wouldn't be visible in the photographs either. So what are the laws for using yourself as the subject if you are 16 years old? Because I figured I can't do photography of other people nude anyway because of my age.

Fine art photography of nude children is perfectly legal in the United States. In fact you can go to your local library and check out books by photographers like Sally Mann and Bruce Davidson.

Also, there are no laws against you photographing other people nude as long as it is not pornographic.

I believe that as long as teh images are not pornogrpahic in nature your safe. I do know like child bath time pictures that every parent has were rulledd not child pronography.

But given the magnitude of punishment child pornography laws carry it is best to just wait until your 18. I personally would just avoid doing it for now.

But if you want to be 100% sure on the subject I would suggest contacting your states district attroney and ask them.
