Nuclear bombs in iran...?

why the hell are americans so obsessed with this idea! Iran would have used them by now if they had them, just to shut everyone up! why won't people give this a rest!!! we went into a war looking for "weapons of mass destruction" well, FYI 8 years later and we have found absolutely positively nothing in any middle eastern country!
 
Iran doesn't need the capability to launch an attack with a nuclear warhead. They have the capability to fight wars by proxy and already do that.

There has already been a request for a nuclear suicide bomber among the extremist Islamics. Iran is at the spearhead of the Islamic Revolution which started in 1979.

Some people just think "old school" where Country A declares war on Country B and they abide by Geneva Conventions or do a Russia-Reagan Cold War stand off.

That is no longer the case as the suicide bombers could care less about any rules.
 
I really have no idea what you're talking about. I'm an American and I've heard of no obsession of nuclear weapons in Iran among my countrymen. Maybe the media makes a big deal of it because of Iran's nuclear capabilities, but apparently the public doesn't.
 
Well, the fact that Iran has reactors, and has stated in firey rhetoric, that it will destroy the West, is quite enough to believe, that their use of nukes, when they do build them, hinges upon their development of a delivery system, i.e. ICBMs.

Once they can launch a missile, and hit anywhere in the earth, is when they will use a nuke.
Of course, they must be careful in that decision, because, we do have anti missile technology, and we have a lot more nukes.
If they did attack the US, or Israel, it would be like commiting mass suicide, which of course, they are prepared to do.
 
it seems to me any country that disagrees with usa wants to develop nuclear weapons. maybe as offensive, but possibly as defensive. would bush have invaded iraq if baghdad could have destroyed america's interests in the middle east? israel? nope! it would have been negotiate negotiate negotiate!
why does kim jong il want bombs? so south korea or usa won't attack his country.

another obsession is that if israel is destroyed the republicans think the bible would be proved wrong. it says israel will return and never be destroyed. no faith, it seems to me.
