NSU changed recently? e61 update question....

I was perusing the forum this evening and noticed that in this thread http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1101096&highlight=e61+firmware+bugs there was a user complaining that Nokia had apparently changed the feature on their NSU site that prevents one from "re-writing" firmware back to the phone.

I'm about to receive my e61 and was wondering if anyone has reflashed their phone to a DIFFERENT firmware in the last, say, month or so. I would really be unhappy if I try and reflash my new phone to the newest software and it denies me.

Anyone?
 
So far the E62 is the only phone I'm aware of that NSU refuses to reflash. The latest version (1.3.2) still allows me to reflash my 6131. It is quite possible that Nokia made the change at Cingular's request after the unbranding solution was posted on several websites.
