now that the first 007 novel "Casino Royale" has been filmed...

...ideally the next Bond film should be based on any of the rest of Ian Fleming's unfilmed 007 literature: "The Property Of A Lady" (referenced in "Octopussy"),
"Quantum Of Solace",
"007 In New York",
"Risico" (referenced in "For Your Eyes Only")
and "The Hildebrand Rarity" (referenced in "License To Kill", itself not based on a Fleming story).

What do you reckon?

They have been producing stories unconnected to Fleming stuff for decades.
The only reason they did CR this time was that legal decisions a few years ago found in favour of UA/MGM/SONY and the rights to Casino Royale ,both the book and previous films aswell as Never say Never Again all reverted to MGM.
Now CR is done I see no reason for them not to continue with all new stories as they did before

Technically Die Another Day was an adaptation of the novel Moonraker, since the film of that name was nothing like the book.

I've heard talk that the next film will be called Risico, but as with most of the BonRAB, they rarely use the plots. As adam_fransella has said, many of the unused titles have already had ideas referenced. Licence to Kill was made up of The Hilderbrandt Rarity and part of the novel Live and Let Die.

Most of Fleming's plots have already been used, it's really just the titles left over.
