Got a call from dealer...my "seat bumper mod kit" is in....they want me to bring bike in this wednesday so the "warrenty" guy from Harley can see my fender damage and put a verdict on that.

I'll keep you posted.
 
I took my wife's '09 FLHX to the dealer months ago and they played dumb, wouldn't do ANYTHING about the dented rear fender unless I got authorization by the MOCO....and they never responded!! The guy I bought the bike from was small (maybe 180lbs), my wife is 125lbs, and the bike had
 
Hope everything goes well for you. As far as your riding style goes, It seems your not the only one having the problem. I wouldnt worry to much about it or "Using your Foot to close your door". Some people I think feel the need to be pissy because there pissed off about there small members.
 
The bumper may be "a" fix. My opinion is cheap seat! My tab on the seat was flexing because the seat would slide back. I got a new fender and seat. Check that rear tab. I put the CC seat on ! LOVE IT!
 
I was just saying to myself how much I hated this seat in the beginning cause my butt hurt so much, but now I can ride all day in it......must have broken in.

I hate to switch it out at this point....whats a cc seat? Corbin?
