Sorry if this sounds strange, my first rant.
I was outside working yesterday, Trying to build my shooting range, like a good wasteful american, when I get a Call on the phone. When I rush inside to answer it, I get this little bratty sounding kid on the phone. yay, it was a survey. Some of the questions include:
-are you on the do not call registry?
-do you know what a v-chip is?
-Are you aware of the amber alert system?
-Do you know what the telivison rating system means?
all of which, except the first, I answerd yes. when i asked Why I was being asked these questions, I got the reply
We are conducting a survey on behalf of the fedrial trade comission to find out how much the general public knows about the fcc's doings (can't remember the exact words she said)
so I told her goodbye, and promptly hung up.
It makes my so fucking mad! not only do they have to watvh over my tv, keep me from seeing "obscene" things on the internet, and listen to everything I have to say on the phone, now they have to call me to remind me that they are out there taking place of the parents when they have their kids watch tv. It makes me fucking disgusted. So now I agree with you, I Hate the FCC, I Hate The FCC, too!
