Now Democrats are claiming McCain is afraid to debate?!?!?

I haven't seen so many assinine comments in my life, LOL! O-B-A-M-A has REPEATEDLY turned down McCain offers to town hall debates where the PEOPLE would get to ask the questions, unscripted, without teleprompters, and without previewing the questions.

And O-B-A-M-A refused because his is afraid of answering questions from the people.

Wow, this is what has become of the nation I defended for 8 years? I'm almost embarrassed for my service reading the dribble I see people post.
Sounds like McCain is trying to do something, you know a CHANGE from what any other politican would do in this situation. I thought everyone wanted change, not same 'ole, same 'ole ignore the country's problems during campaigns. How refreshingly new, unless you're a Democrat and hate change.
 
Of course they are. Were you perhaps expecting Obama supporters to say "oh, good point McCain. We got your back on this one?"

McCain wants to avoid the debates to focus on "the economy." That way, when Obama says "No, let's debate," McCain's camp can say "see, he doesn't care about the economy." It is a set-up and pathetic appeal to emotion over logic.

But, because he even suggested not debating, and knowing that their guy will be attacked for wanting to debate, the Obama supporters have to defind the stance and claim McCain is scared.

This is a pathetic attempt to manipulate public sympathy and BOTH sides are using it as an opportunity to play school ground politics with your future. Period.

Yes, mental is a great description. McCain has his priorities straight and we all know that he's not afraid to debate. Obama is the one who can't talk without a teleprompter and if nothing else, is probably relieved to have this debate rescheduled. LOL

McCain is a coward that is using the pain and suffering of a crippled nation as a facade. A REAL leader could get both jobs done., McCain is a W-H-I-M-P,

McCain wants the debate on friday postponed so they can work in Washington on the bailout.

Here's a solution...go to Washington tomorrow and work until midday friday, then fly down to Missouri for the debate. Afterwards fly back and work on saturday/sunday.

Obama will not debate in a setting like that because the biased left wing liberal media will not be there to make sure that he gets the nice feel good questions. There afraid real people with real concerns might ask real questions.
