Now another couple more symptoms.....

Hi all,

I can't quite figure this out. I just want it all to stop.

My new symptom is, my right finger when I touch it in a certain spot, it goes numb and tingles. This is so weird.

I have had pain in my tailbone, which will not go away, I have days where it isn't really bad, but other days, I can't sit without it hurting.

My headaches are not that bad right now, but the other night I awoke with a flashy bright light in my head with a pop sound. My dreams are more constant than ever, which again I always dream.

Now the next symptom has happened 3 months in a row now but this month, I am questioning if it is connected to what is wrong with me. I am having menstrual type cramping. It feels just like a menstrual cramp but I am over a week away from my menstrual cycle. I have pills up til Saturday then I usually start on Wednesday. So over a week.

I just want to go curl up in my lazyboy chair and forget about everything right now....Oh that is right, my tailbone is hurting right now. When my tailbone hurts, it is a burning feeling also if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks for letting me rant.

Hi my advice would be to see a Neurologist and have some tests done to diagnose what is causing your symptoms.

I also have a lot of lower back pain. Mine is caused from several discs that are damaged. I am going to have injections into my lower back to hopefully help the pain.

Take care and I hope you will stay in touch.

Nadine:)

the thing with anything actually spinal is that you do NOT actually even have to have any real pain to actually have something impacting either your motor or sensory which sounds like what is going on with that finger that would be stemming from your c spine level? sensory loss or partial impact from alot of different possibles when it comes to the spinal levels and nerve roots CAN create what you are feeling in that finger? they are called 'parasthesias"? they get created BY something that is usually somehow affecting the sensory parts of certain spinal nerves that actually innervate the areas where you are 'feeling' things?

but in your particular case, i would seriously see your primary at this point to actually have a full top to bottom(head to toe) type of contrasted MRI done? just considering the head pain/visual disturbances along with what appears to be at least sensory impact at that c spine level, and what you are feeeling wayyy down in your actual tailbone too? this would possibly show exactly what areas of your spinal and or brain may be suffering some types of undxed problems that are showing themselves to you right now with strange symptoms.

but simply doing the contrasted MRI(esp when looking into that brain) which would be on your entire central nervous system actually, may reveal much more underlying issues than you are even aware of or may totally clear certain areas of any involvement too? but this is where you just have to kind of "start" things with some basic 'baseline" rule in rule out types of testing and go from there depending upon certain findings.

while alot of different things could be creating your ongoing symptoms or even anything within that entire arm too that is simply irrritating/impinging upon a sensory nerve in some area along the arm, the most likely/common place and best place to get the bigger picture with what you are having here as symptoms just would be some ruling in or out at your brain and spinal levels. you just truely honestly do NOT have the slightest clue as to what is going on in anyones body until you start looking 'into it' with deeper types of scans that simply would pick up those things you do not know even exist in you. trust me here, been there done THAT one to death with me and also my son.

just see your primary to get that referal for that full brain thru sacrum(the tailbone level) contrasted MRI done and then let THAT dictate who you need to see next. this IS what i would simply do at this point if i were experiencing what you are. and make certain to ALWAYS obtain your own copies of any and all testing results that get done on you, including your very own copy of this MRI that hopefully your primary will just do for you considering everything. you and he just at this point NEED to get the 'look' inside at the areas of symptoms. its kind of that basic really. good luck with this and i do hope that something will show that can at least help explain the symptoms. the not knowing the "whys' is what makes me crazy. please do keep us posted hon, FB

Hi everyone,

For the past few days, I have been having more symptoms.

I have been waking up every night in the middle of the night with horrible leg cramps. I have to get up out of bed and walk them out. They get so bad that when I actually get back up in the morning that they hurt so bad.

I have this little twitching all over my legs, this wakes me up too, it is driving me mad.

My legs also during the day feel so heavy and tight.

I take potassium everyday for the leg cramps but it seems to be no help right now.

I have woken up two hours earlier than I normally do.

And as I sit here, my legs are twitching all over

I just want to scream so bad.

Oh boy, this is really starting to get insane with me.

I woke up this morning with my under chin hurting a little and when I brushed my teeth the back of my mouth hurt.

Well, I have a swollen gland under my left jaw and my gums are swollen in my mouth on my left side.

What is the deal with all of these symptoms and I can't find anything with these symptoms to point me in the right direction.

I am so fed up with all this crap......

have you simply seen your primary for this yet? trying to actually truely Dx anything on the net can make you crazy, trust me. symptoms are just that, little things that are popping up in your body that are telling you you simply DO need to see your doc and not the net, ya know?

its just that right now, you really have no idea what just IS creating the feelings and the cramping and the other symptoms/sensations right now. for all you know, you could have seperate issues going on and not having all these symptoms ONLY from ONE particular problem? this is why you simply DO need to at least start testing things to narrow down what just IS stemming from what and go from there? just please DO see your doc and hopefully get started with a good head to toe contrasted MRI. this will at the very LEAST, hopefully show areas of impact and possible generators for some of what you are feeling. but going places on the net is going to simply make YOU more crazy/frustrated and feel MORE confused hon.

testing things is what actually leads to finding out things that are going on inside you. just make an appt and see about that MRI to start with. they CAN show alot of 'you' from the inside? i hope you can get this done and find something solid to go with here soon. please let us know what you find out, K?
