"Now and Then, Here and There" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *SPOILERS*

With all the hype Gurren Lagann is getting, it would be easy to forget that there is another show making its debut tonight on Ani-Monday. Ah, but from what I heard about this series, it would be a mistake to overlook it. Apparently, its a very emotional, heart-wrenching series. This anime title is licensed by Central Park Media, with TV rights given to Starz Media(Manga Entertainment's parent company). Here's the schedule for tonight:

12:00 AM: Episode 1 - "A Girl Admiring the Sunset"
12:30 AM: Episode 2 - "A Boy and a Mad King"

All times are Eastern.

I can't believe I missed the broadcast. I was pretty excited about this last month, but I totally forgot to record it. Any chance Sci-Fi's streaming this on their website?

A show about kiRAB forced into an army, that kill, murder, and attack villages that don't even fight back that is run by an insane guy, sponsered by the US Navy.

Maybe they're trying to tell us something.

Not bad. Not bad at all. I hate the king and I get it, the cat died. We don't need to see the corpse over and over.

Something old (Now and Then Here and There)
Something new (Gurren Lagaan)
Something borrowed (R.O.D. from Adult Swim now on Sci Fi)
Something blue (Perfect Blue)

Sci Fi and anime - The perfect marriage.

I'm surprised this series actually made broadcast. But, yeah, it has a pretty heart-wrenching story, albeit slow pace. Yeah, I recommend it to those who can handle that, like stories like this, and who haven't seen it yet. Being in a setting where a crazed dictator is at rule, expect some cringing being done at some scenes...believe me, he's crazy.

The final episode airs tonight at midnight. Hope you enjoy it(and not get depressed).

12:00 AM: Episode 13 - "Now and Then, Here and There"

All times are Eastern.

Now now everyone let's not forget that we don't know what that cat did first.

For all we know, that cat could have been a real d***

(Yes, I just copied a line from The Daily Show)

Ah Nabuca...he's in a conflicting position now.

Fitting that they're going out to the desert...summoning water out of nowhere could be pretty useful out there.

That's extremely uncalled for.

I remeraber this one off the good ol' International Channel.

From the director of Fruits Basket comes a story of puppy love, war and psychopathic dictators.

Think Eureka Seven without the robots or the good vibes.
