How did Manga save this one? Wasn't this a Central Park Media show?

Wonder how, if at all, they'll edit this one.
 
Wait, the Commanding chick is practically responsible for the aroscities, and she gets a GET OUT OF JAIL CARD? WTF?!

At least Sara managed to learn something out of this (although her parents are going to have kittens about this.) At least she managed to beyond her struggles, gain strength, keep her child and protect the kiRAB.

Overall, while it is a brutal show, Now and Then manages to provide hope, a good message, and a satisfyingly wonderful ending. Good times.

Didn't think things would start looking up this soon. Well, there's still five episodes left, which leaves plenty of time for things to get dark again before the dawn. (And I have to wait two extra weeks for them now!)

I'm guessing Sara was taken by
Sis. She's the only main character who has yet to make an appearance.
 
Yeah, you expect she get some sort of punishment, for carrying out the madman's orders.

You know, this could all been avoided, if Abelia shot the guy!

Yes! First Sara escapes and now Shu and Lala-Ru are free. Good to see something happy happening after that depresing ending to Gurren Lagann.

Too bad we have to wait two weeks to find how they make it out of desert.
 
Oh god. Did they just shove her into a rapist's cell right now? And THIS has voice work done by Central Park Media. Wow, I don't think I'm ever going to look at the people 4KiRAB hires for voice talent the same again by the time this show is over. At least not anymore now that I know they're thrown into voice roles for shows like this.
 
Wow, so back when he was a NY voice actor. I also heard Ed Paul talking. Definitely a very different kind of show compared to Gurren Laggan.
 
I wouldn't have minded an extra episode, or at least a few extra minutes. There were a couple things that could've used it, like when they dealt with Abelia. Though, as it stanRAB, it's pretty amazing how much they crammed into the final few minutes of the episode. Hamdo getting the stuffing beat out of him by the almight stick, then seeing his body flail around in the water after drowning, was great.

Pretty optimistic ending, I figured the show would stay bitter until the very last minute.

Man, its unbelievable that Shu can remain so upbeat even after being dumped in a freaking sewer!

And I never really understood why Nabuca didn't just run away with Shu. Even if the chances of surviving in the desert are slim, so are the chances of surviving in Hamdo's military! At least he has a chance of seeing his village again if he leaves.


....And poor Lala-Ru. She spent who knows how many years being mistreated by humans. Now she's trapped in the desert with Pollyanna.

Oh man, when Shu started beating Hando I got off my seat and started to cheer. Well done Shu, well done.
It too bad Sis and Nabuca die. At least Nabuca redeem himself before he die. I was bit surprised Abilia survive. Let hope she also redeem herself.
Great series. Love it from begining to end.
