Boy, am i going to loose many points. Anyway, I have a novel idea and outline (basically I know exactly what it is going to happen in my novel) So when does Just write apply? Do i write about my novel or about anything? I am just not understanding this, because a bunch of "writing advice" sites tell me to write whenever i get the chance and about anything. But i want to be focused more on improving my novel. If possible can you give me any advice on the experiences you have had writing, and the methods that worked the best... thanx in advance.

As long as you're writing ANYTHING, you should be gaining experience and improving as a whole (er, in theory). There are numerous writing exercises and whatnot that are excellent for this.

At the same time, you do not want to hammer yourself 24/7.
There will be days where you don't feel like writing anything at all - and that's absolutely fine.
Don't over work yourself. Keep writing fun; not a hassle. Keep stress to a minimum. :}

You can write about anything - but your novel will likely turn out to be your main priority. Write whatever you feel like - write what comes to you.

Hope this helped in the slightest.
Cheers. :}
